Wasn't until this morning that I realized I should have said: 'All the news that's fit to print'.

Goddam peckerwood! I couldn't get the thing to take in news; got all scrambled up, and I further couldn't figure out how to unpublish it in the back door (sorta hate saying: rear end', lol!)

I just made it into an unfeatured post instead, though posting thru Chrome is a nightmare.

Yes, yes. Back door is certainly better. (I think the typical nomenclature is something along the lines of "admin console/panel/screens". Back door means something else entirely. :-)

So, now your browsing problems have expanded beyond video?

And what got scrambled w/ the news? (Btw ... one thing it doesn't seem to like is block-quoting the excerpt).

Back door clueless; we'll let it go, but it did sound...potentially double entendre, even to me, lol!

Ah, yes; seems I broke many things, or the new versions/fixes did. I went thru the plug-ins, one or more of which the videos I can't see often say I'm missing, one at a time, Shockwave Player was the one that made my Firefox freeze totally. It's far more useful to me than Chrome (yech) and far faster than the msn version of IE I use because it's so plain-vanilla, easy on mine eyes...and it hangs a lot, too.

Now Firefox sees loads of overlain jumbles of word, images, comment boxes on threads, and one other weirdness I can't remember now.

The diary compose windows both here and over yonder look and behave very differently on Chrome, and it murdered the In the News (or else I did). Didn't remember the difference between the Comment Box (first space) and the Excerpted Text boxes. And after I pasted stuff into the html side, it posted backwards, or upside down.

Sooo....I put it into a full-fledged post.

Heard from Robert Dumas this a.m. (long time since I had) saying he's moving to Seattle, not so much to work on the big water project, but to write music and other things, including getting the hell outta Jan Brewer/Arpaio country.

I was just wondering what had become of Robert. *I* wouldn't want to live in Arizona at the moment, so I figure a move to Seattle can only be viewed as a good thing.

Good to hear he's doing OK.
